Sup guys. May sound like a weird question but on the stock exaust manifold/cat combo does the cat, or pre-cat, have honeycomb crap in it? If not is it just an empty? sort of a collector i guess?

Im only asking because i just took my manifold and mine is empty like i used to do on my old honda hatch.

Fyi to add im removing to deal with other issues and am changing the head and chain. Stock car, very high miles.
