I spun a rod bearing a few days ago and I'm in search of a new motor. I called Brandy-wine junkyards and theyre charging $2500 for a used engine(30k miles)... however I'm looking for cheaper... much cheaper. Any advice on what to do in my situation? I plan on just buying the motor alone as I have friends who can help me install it. 2008 auto tc btw.

I dont need anything new... just gotta get it running again before I sell it. Thanks.

 

Much cheaper? Try finding one that spun a rod...

i got a set of used pistons and rods OEM great conditions they got like 40k. let me know

 

Www.car-part.com lists all the major junk yards inventory. I've got quite a few good deals buy shopping junk yards through them.

 

I got a rebuilt engine for $2000 through my mechanic.
