Need some advice!! Lester4!!
Hey guys, well I have had my 2008 tC for a few years now, seen a couple of wrecks so I have had to change it over the years.. I used to have black 17 inch Enkei RPF1's on it, but wanted something different so I went with Drag's.. I know i know.. Now I am wanting 18 inch RPF1's and I will list some future mods when money allows..I am going thru my EMT classes right now and wont be done until next spring, then I will be going to work as a career firefighter in Knoxville.. I am needing some advice on when, how, and what to spend my money on as far as mods go, I want to boost when I get out of my classes so dont say that first lol.. And as far as my Exterior goes, I want it different but I still don't know if I want the RS1 front lip with the OEM GFX sideskirts or if I wan to go with the Rado Widebody which I know I would need atleast 19 inch wheels.. I make about $425 every two weeks, my bills at the end of the month besides gas are only $75, but I have a gf too so I like to do things for her.. Here is some things I want to do now and in the future, thanks for listening guys!

I can't think of anything else, but that sounds like it.

dump the girlfriend and live off ramen for a few months.
joking aside....
Go with a lip kit if this car isin't a dedicated show car. Fully done up cars look like crap in a year or two atleast up here with the snow and salt.

Yeah it's my daily driver so I was leaning towards the lip kit.. My goal is to one day have it featured in a magazine so I know I got some work to do..

Youre DDing it right now. i'd say go with an LED swap to the entire car...gauges, hvac, license plate lights, take out the drl's, the cubby, dome, and map...really doesnt cost much at all and is a nice touch.
also run a system, you have the rca hook up already so get a couple 10's or a nice 12", whatever style youre into. I run 2 10" type r's at 1200 rms and its the best thing i could have done. logically i listen to music everytime im in my car, so its potentially the most consciously used mod i have

Just keep saving your money. To get featured in a magazine (or website, thats whats up anymore really) you'd either have to be slammed to the ground with some super dope rims or have a freaking fast turbo or both. Dont get me wrong it is clean, but it needs more to stand out. I make about the same and am getting married so I know it is totally possible to save up a decent amount of money for mods.
Thanks guys, keep it coming. I'm not big on audio really, or the lighting.. I am more wanting performance with some looks, Idk if I should save for the turbo now and have to wait till about March or April of 2012 to finally get it or go ahead and spend some money on the lip kit and seats and small stuff like that..?
If you're going turbo in the near future, don't touch it. Otherwise I'd get rid of the uselss and unsafe steering wheel (lets be honest, it does nothing) and get a real intake. Then save save save. Be aware that the Intake manifold and exhaust you want will do nothing until you get a turbo, so go turbo first. And by the way of the Scion, since a lot of people do have turbos, and even kits, you'll have to do something pretty radical or cool to make it into a magazine/website these days with this car. (I'm not trying to crush dreams, just being honest) You do have a good decent start, just save up the money, because it will cost a LOT to do what you want bro.
Yeah I know the kit is $4250 and then I know tuning and things will cost, I had a Fujita intake, but wanted to be different so I made a short ram out of my stock tubing and stuck the fujita filter on the end..lol I miss my RPF1's so bad it kills me to look at my Drags, then I want all this other little stuff before I boost, I guess I just look at how much the turbo kit is and I tell myself "well I can put it off till next year and put some other stuff into my car right now like seats, RPF1's again, new tires, lip kit..etc... I know the steering wheel doesn't do anything, but I like it and think it looks good so it's a keeper, I really like getting ideas from everyone, thanks.
