Does anybody know where I can get a new OEM Front bumper? I need it already painted. The bumper I have wont hold in the top grill and its getting worse and worse. Its annoying me so much I am not willing to just get a whole new front bumper. (I tried to fix the problem with tape, zip ties ect. but nothin works it just keeps popping out). I been looking around but to no luck. Any help would really be greatful.

 

Go to the dealership and have them get you a new one.

 

How much would the bumper run through the dealership? I always thought it was best to avoid the dealer unless its completely needed. Im not trying to pay out of the a$$ for something I can get a bit cheaper from another seller.

 

You can either go to the dealer or try to find a used one on here. If you don't want to put in the effort of taking it to get painted, then those are your options. They can be had online for a pretty good price, but they're usually just primed. Since you cannot post a WTB thread (you have not met the requirements) then you'll just have to keep an eye out.

 

What year is the car? Are you the original owner? How many miles on the ODO, is it less than 36,000 miles? Have you removed the grill at all? If yes to all of the questions(except the last one) then time to visit the dealer for warranty repair. It seems the grill has been removed at some time because one tab is melted(an upper tab) to prevent the grill from popping out. Ever since I've swapped mine the top gets pushed in when washing the grill.

Might help to possibly find one locally if you posted your location, and the color you are looking for.....

Or just get a FIG grille, has to be drilled/zip tied anyway - and it's cheaper than a bumper.

 

^He can't do that since this isn't the PPC and he can't make a thread there.

 

Ok so I guess my only option is to go through the dealer. Couldnt find one on google, its not covered under warranty (im not the first owner & my warranty is everything but body and a few other small things) & I couldnt find one used anywhere. If I go to the dealership can I ask for just the bumper and install it myself? Its basically just popping it on screwing it in right?

 

^ when you find that answer let me know been wanting new bumpers. Still haven't checked with the dealer.
