Default New here and confused

Alright, I joined about three days ago, the night before buying my brand new-ish 2007 tC.

I've found that I'm a lil ignorant on a few things.

First....how the heck do I post pics of my new baby?

Second...I keep seeing "BSP" this and "RS4" that etc etc......what are these exactly?

Colors and RS editions.

Black Sand Pearl is a color, RS4 is simply a rumor. RS1, 2 and 3 have been done so far, being red, blue, and white respectively.

Host an image on photobucket.com, then use the [IMG] tags around the link to the picture.

you have to go to a hosting website like putfile.com and upload them there and then you have copy the link to the boards

BSP - black sand pearl

RS4 - "release series 4" special colors and individual numbers...kinda like special edition

no rs 4 yet tho...

To post pictures, try hosting them somewhere like photobucket.

bsp stands for black sand pearl (a color choice for the tc)

RS4 stands for release series 4, its a special series of the car with extras and stuff not found in the standard models of the car.

welcome to the forum

Wow that was fast. Thanks.

But if I only put links in my posts, how do you see the pics in the messages themselves like I see on so many other posts?

If you go to photobucket and upload your pics then you can paste the IMG code on here and it will show up as a pic.

Here's a real example:

Without putting code tags around it, here's what happens when I put what you see above by itself:

Rock out, it worked!

(And no, you're not seeing scratches on the hood or fender....it's just that clean...it's reflecting whatever else is nearby.)

Yep....big plans. The first of which, however will not be 'seen.' Neither will I. That's the goal anyway.

I have a heavy foot, so before I flash it up, it's in my best interest to head over to radarbusters.com and hook up with the whole package, jammers, plate covers and stealth spray for the light covers.

Once I know I'm safe from un-necessary trouble....then I'm sure I'll flash it up a bit.

The main circumstance that led to my purchasing this lil' beauty was the following:

This is what your car looks like after you play pinball down the freeway, using yourself as the ball.

So, with my ride totaled, I needed a new one. I wanted a good, reliable, technologically advanced ride. So, when I lucked out and found this puppy sittin' on a lot with only 3,800 miles on it....I jumped on it.

Actually, not really. I was a lil sore the next day and I have a 'thing' in my left hand where it's still sore if I grab something large a certain way. But aside from that, the only thing I got was a couple of scratches on my left forearm.

The car definitely did its job of savin' my butt. Unfortunately, it took $17,300 bucks worth of damage in the process. My insurance totaled it out and gave me $18,500. (Well, me and my lien holder that is.)

My Scion only ran me about $17K......and KBB has it listed at $19K.

So all in all, I made out like a bandit. Ya know...except for the massive collision part of course.
