....jsut a question because everyone says different things....

A new intake/ such as the weapon r or the new injen. or the hoping for Greddy...
It increases the flow of air into the engine, which gives out horses...
but more air intot he engine means more gas as well right...
so doesnt the miles per gallon drop?....
its only about 25 now... and anything lower than 20 i coulda just bought a SUV

 

i think if u put more air into the engine it'll save you gas rather than consuming more.
more air lesser gas to the engine....

 

So how did you came up with this idea?

Did you replace the injectors or something?

Did replace/reprogram the computer to allow more gas?

I think the only thing you'll have is cooler air... thats good, since its replaced the warmer air.

 

cpu automatically adds gas with mor air - hence the two sensors on the intake and how open the throttle is -- until there is a cpu that can be changed on ur laptop then u r gonna use more gas the more air u allow in - but just an intake should only go down 2-3 mpg unless u get exaust then more air will be goin out so more will be needed - so even less gas miles - 5-6 loss

 

so more gas = rich
and less gas = lean to some of u
and since we cannot do it right now - then it will run even - unless u advance the timming or something
