Default New Tails, Fresh Wash, Pics of course!

I've been on SL for a while now, but haven't posted any pictures of the ride yet. I put my new taillights on this morning, and figured I'd give the ride a nice old wash and a quick coat of wax. I kinda wish I would have applied another 2 coats like I usually do to really get the shine out, but this will do =)

Not much done, Those tails, Megan Catback, Seibon VS CF Hood, I've got H-techs sitting in the garage waiting to be put on, but I can't get my car into the garage to put them on until my father and I get our project car out =(

Not a fan of those tails.

They do look better with a light smoke though.

I'm hoping to have them smoked nearly the whole way through within the next week or two. I've seen a very dark version of them before and they take on a whole different look.

Where does the water go when it rains on your hood???

X100 rains?

Or is it not open to the sky as is seems to be?

Just curious....

The way my garage sits, there's a small enough overhang that when it rains it keeps the water from getting into the engine. If I ever need to go out and its raining badly, or its going to be raining, I have a sheet of metal I stick underneath with packing tape. The tape will hold long enough to get where I need to go usually. I have run it in the rain on occasion without any problems, As long as the rain isn't heavy and you're moving most of the time not much gets in there.

Like I mentioned, My H-techs are sitting in the garage, I'm trying to get them on as soon as possible. Tails are getting painted House of Kolor Candy Black, and I'll tint it as soon as some cash comes in. I realize how badly I need it in this Florida summer =p

Mine is BCP as well...and I just bought my CF hood, S-techs, and a full Megan racing exhaust from the engine back. I had concidered the hood like yours, but was concerned about rain/snow ruining my engine components.

Looks good, though!

Out here in sunny florida snow isn't an issue. Rains a big one, but it plays a lot less of a factor than I imagined it would.
