Default New TC Owner Herre

My parents took it upon themselves that while I was in college for summer credits they brought me the TC because they knew that I was so into it. They brought it two weeks ago and kept it a secret from me while I was gone. They got it in automatic with flint mica color and had add-ons like a 6 CD changer and the interior mod lights in blue. I'm blown away by how it looks and how it drives. I guess I got lucky and got a new car as my first car. I'll post pictures soon.

Congrats!! Cool parents . . . probably was the surprise of your life when they sprung it on you.

It'll definitely draw plenty of attention in college. Have fun!

Congrats on the Tc and having cool parents for getting you the car. It's great to have cool parents, that buy you vehicles, I should know, they have bought me three new ones, in the past.

I'll have to get some pics up as well pretty soon.. I just had them put in tonight, and I have to say I'm rather blown away at just how soft, yet present the ambient lighting is now.. It makes driving that much more smooth.

So, don't worry.. They were a great investment!

they glow just like neon lights except they are above your knees, driver and passenger side... make sure your dashboard is blue or green, because thats what they got...

Default Dash light mod?

I was thinking about getting the blue LED illumination, but I don't know if it'll match well with the amber dash lights. Is there a way to mod the dash lights with a different color?

I believe you can get the lights in amber. I'd do that so it'd match the dashboard and the radio, but I don't know how I feel about so much of an orange color in one place. :lol

if i do the led thing.. ill probably build my own... that way i could use the multi-color leds and just pick the color that matches my mood.really shouldnt be too hard to build.
then again... you dont have to do the building and testing yourselves. thats always a plus. anyways... please do post the pics... id like to see how the blue looks with the amber gauges

I think the poster started at the very very begining and started reading.

but to answer their question I have green for my Yaris and it is really nice and bright.A friend gave me a kit from an xA to install.

If you are going to put lights on the exterior no matter what color they are gonna be illegal for the most part. You can use them while parked and that is it.
