Lol @ the search comments.

Anyway, congrats on your new car. As far as led lighting goes, if you can do it yourself, you will save a lot of money. My dad brought home blue leds from work and we installed them in the footwells. It probably cost no more than $5. We also redid the gauge cluster, so it has blue lights to match. I would post pics, but the last time I tried, I failed....so yeah. If anyone really wants to see blue footwell lighting and a gauge, tell me know how to post pics. And I see you're in good ol' bergen too.

Remember when you try and fail you need to try again.......once you get old and have failed 1000s of times you figure out that your kids are able to post them for you.......

As far as exterior lighting, I am clueless. For the footwells,, I had help from my dad, but we hooked it up to the battery, got a switch for it, and then we ran the lighting and wires above the top panel where your feet are (it should pop out) and we drilled holes though it so the light can shine through. We then continued the wiring with lights for the passenger side through the center console. There should be a small plug on the side of it, and we passed it through there and did the same thing. It's not too hard to do, you just need to figure out where to hook it up to get power, though. We did this months ago, so I forget where exactly we put it.

As far as the gauge cluster, it's simple soldering. However if you use an led that has a higher intensity than the stock bulbs, or if it requires more power, you will need to change the resistors so you don't blow something

Cool parents! As long as they don't buy you a Corvette, 350Z, or any other sports cars.
