My brain hurts from reading some of that..

Anyway, I'm assuming you mean the CEL? Did you buy the car used? Did you put anything other than the TRD exhaust on? Need a little more info before anyone can help you with your problem...

A sensor because of the TRD exhaust? eh? Sorry but your friend doesn't sound like he really knows what he's talking about and the only sensor I can think of him reffering to is an o2 sensor but the TRD exhaust doesn't go anywhere near either of our o2 sensors so there shouldn't have been a reason for messing with it, unless it was already gone when you bought the car which I highly doubt if the CEL came on AFTER you installed the exhaust.

I doubt the Avic D3 can cause a CEL (I may be wrong but unless you seriously somehow screwed up something in your electrical system I don't see it throwing a code like that..)

I say take it to auto zone and have them use a scan tool to see what code it's throwing. The TRD exhaust shouldn't cause anything like that especially since it's just an axle-back. Make sure you check the quality of your install and that everything is bolted up properly.
