Next tC should be a retro of an old Toyota.

forget the supra, nobody could afford a $50,000 car in the 90s and with inflation, nobody could afford a $75,000 Supra today.

But cars like the ones above can be makde cheap. Forget the glass roof, ipod connector and all of the other junk, make it fun.

no, no retro. scions are all about the younger generations, being on the cutting edge of design and style. they are supposed to be ultra modern. you want retro, get a chevy hhr, new camaro, mustang, pt cruiser etc.

True, I guess the younger buyer doesn't appreciate performance and the simplicity of a car.

They'd rather have something that lights up their cup holders, dash lights that change 5,000 different colors, connects an ipod and has a toaster where they can heat their hotpockets.

What ever happened to true enthusiasts?

When I was a kid, my dad would spend hundreds of dollars on a carburator while people today spend thousands on ridiculous wings and bodykits that actually hurt performance. *sigh*

simpliciy and convenience are aspects where one must decide on things...
it's convenient for those ipod owners to be able to hook up their ipod to a car's stereo.

if people have money... if people like it.. they'll spend money on it.

there are plenty of options out there... that's why there are different automakers.. that's why aftermrket companies exist.

wishing that a company would do something is nothing but a dream... you want something to happen? well.. then do something about it.. but really.. no one is forcing you to buy anything.. it's all on preference... so what if younger buyers nowanddays prefer something else over you?

times change.

Unfortunately the 'free market' takes a while to catch up to our demand. This is why you can go on ebay and find 20 different styles of altezzas.

The only timeless modification i have ever seen seems to be performance.

Cars really do reflect people.

Back then, people didn\'t care if their cars were flashy, has neon lights, spinning rims, lambo doors, stickers, wings and body kits. People just wanted them to be fast. Those cars had soul.

Nowadays, most people just want their cars to \"look\" fast, flashy, ridiculous body kits, wings and las vegas lights. Those cars have no soul.

Just like people. They weren\'t too shallow, not into surgical appearance, fashion (today it\'s hard to tell men from women) and they knew what honor was. It\'s sad that I can\'t say the same today.

actually.. i can argue against that... as some of those cars you see at shows.. as well as some pictured... belong to the older generation.. some even much, much older than you.

like younger people can afford to do that stuff to their car.. hmmm.. maybe on credit.. heh.. (yea.. alot of them are)

you're very narrow-minded aren't you?
