Nitrous isn't rice. It adds extra hp, eventho it's only temporary.

However, I doubt the following will add hp:
led cup holder lights, eazy bake oven led lights, high efficiency filter, dimmer switch, pivot raizin volt stabilizer, HURST pistol grip shift ****, xA door sills, dash appliqué,

I guess it depends on how often he's going to need the extra power. If he'll use it atleast once daily, then yeah, turbo is the way to go.

However if he just needs it to race once a week then the bottle will be a better choice.

He also stated that he doesn't want his mpg to increase. Nitrous kit (if you don't use it) won't touch your mpg. Turbo and SC will.

Nitrous is like a hooker, you wanna hit it but you're scared of the consequences.

^^^ saw that quote on a profile somewhere..too funny haha..

I may try that wet kit one of these days.

I've been thinking about doing this for a while too. But then, I havn't "street raced" in about 3 years. I grew out of that. I'd still love to have a nice 50 shot setup though.

the only nos im gettin is the nos energy drink from the gas station near my school. lmao

nitrous really isnt good for your cars people. sure you can run a small shot every now and then but over time its gonna wear your motor out and probably put a lot more stress on your drivetrain. if you blow your motor by puttin nos in it your dealer is not gonna wanna give you a brand new one and be like good luck with the nos! hope everything goes better this time!

The arguements about price savings with nitrous is funny.

If you ran nitrous wide open till the bottle emptied, yo would have like 40seconds. Run it just for the quarter mile and you will get maybe 6-7 runs in.
SOmeone said you can fill a bottle 50times before it equals the cost of a turbo setup.
That means you have less than an hour of performance before you have surpassed the price of a turbo setup. And once the turbo is in, you have the power whenever you want it.

I am not saying nos is bad. I think it would be great for the occasional drag strip run. But it in no way compares to being boosted.

I guess it's good for the people who want to make a stock Civic eat it with more kick. Otherwise a supercharger is so much better. Any damage it does to the car is covered too.
