No-name 2.25" cat-back
Finally got my exhaust done. I started out with a FlowMaster chambered knockoff, with a 2.25" offset inlet and 2.25" center outlet, going into a 3.5" chrome tip. Not bad, gained a pony or two, and wasn't loud at all. Next step was a single piece of 2.25" tubing from the cat back to the muffler. Definitely added some hp, but at the price of sounding too raspy for my liking. Went back and had them install a small resonator with a 2.25" core, to keep it flowing all the way to the back. Quieted it down just enough, and still pulls hard to redline. Total cost for the muffler, tip, and labor for all the pipe work was around $250.
These pics show the finished work before I had the resonator installed today. Enjoy!

I run a custom 2.5" magnaflow setup. Had it custom made @ a local shop. It's manifold back. Cost me $111 shipped for the 2.5" Magnaflow cat and Magnaflow Stainless 2.5" center to center muffler off ebay , and I got it all installed for $120. So, I paid $231 for a full manifold back... not loud at all, and sounds deep.
