ok update.

ive searched on the web to listen to some sound clips of other cars, and it appears that the quietest exhaust i've seen (it was on a Lexus IS300) was the blitz nur-spec.

there aren't many exhausts that will work on the tC because of how the underbody is situated - best one I've seen is the Magnaflow made personally by Stylis of this board at www.precisionmuffler.com

if you search the boards you can find soundclips for it, and it's got a nice deep tone that's not too loud and it's a catback, also has an axle-back but that'd just be upgrading the exhaust for sound only.

I have never heard the NUR-spec on an IS, but I have heard it on both MK3 and MK4 supras and it was one of the louder exhausts out there. So I dunno.

well theres a difference....when you hear it you have to look for the "nur-spec" not the nur-spec r, because the latter is a replacement for all the piping, and its loud as ____.

however, the "nur-spec" is only an axle back and is not too loud.

i wanna hear one on the xB/xA because the nur-spec is out for them.

Just do custom work..they can make even cannister style mufflers fit. i had a tanabe supermedallion racing spec installed almost perfectly straight. they said it was tight, but they still was able to do it.
