i have an official dilema. i dont kno if i should go with starting to buy my stereo system or if i should by my injen CAI....its a tough choice, any opinions?

 

system will be more money slash take longer than the intake, butt systems id say you get the most enjoyment out of

 

ya im not really sure though. cuz the system is gonna cost me up over 1000 and the CAI is only 285...so i think im gonna head for the CAI and then get my stereo with christmas and tax return money

Then why are you asking? Sounds like your mind is all made up

 

just trying to weigh my options...i just havent found any real good reasons to wait on the CAI

I say save and get a system. It's one of the upgrades to my car I get the most enjoyment out of.

I'm not gonna modify the engine too much while I'm still in warranty. But about 12,000 more miles and I'll be modifying away.

 

a CAI will not affect your warranty. ikno i will enjoy a system. but im enjoying the one it came with to right now. i kno im gonna get close to 500 or 600 bucks for xmas, and i think thats whats gonna be buying most of my stereo.

Well... besides ssm's response ....

If you want something that will actually function, go with the stereo. The stereo will be an immediately noticeable performance upgrade to your sound sytem.. somthing you use all the time. The intake will sound neat and look shiny under your hood.. with no noticebale effect anywhere else . So it comes down to just wanting to do something quick and now that looks and sounds good... or waiting a bit longer and making a nice, noticeable upgrade in the sound system area. Just depends on what you want.
