I'm due for an oil change on my 06 TC and wanted to know if I should go with Castrol Edge or Valvoline EP/Advanced protection. I get oil changes every 6months and use Toyota filters.

 

Either of those oils will be fine since they're full-synthetic. That's way better than any dino oil that burns and clogs rings
and results in oil-burning and consumption. The particular metrics you want to compare are: flash-point and NOACK. Both if which are better with full-synthetics.
