ok so i was thinking today;
I see a lot of people getting flamed on a constant basis so i thought about it and i sort of enjoy getting new people on scionlife. i mean its only going to get the Scion Community bigger and bigger...plus aftermarket support is getting much better to many companies(TurboToyotas/Dezod/Ptuning + many companies that have contributed to scion aftermarket).
figure i would throw this out here to help this community soon enough

Well...I am new and people hate because of two reasons, you disagree with them or give them an unflattering opinion. I am 31 and I realize that most users are younger than me and are "always" right and I suck.
I don't dislike new users, just users in general that post up pointless threads like this thread. Also user that don't search before posting or are just too lazy to search and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter.

People post up pictures and get angry when someone gives negative feedback / constructive criticism.
That's why I'll mainly post replies on objective matters,
I wish there was a common sense button on this site too

The TC is NOT a racecar. Why do some people think by adding a turbo which is an unreliable thing to do considering the engine was not produced to have one to begin with. Speed limit is 65-75 on every interstate in America. So you can reach 60 a second faster than a stock TC? WOW impressive.
Hell, I've been searching the site for over a year before I finally decided to register and "add my two cents" occasionally. And these problems with newbs exist on virtually every forum site out there- either dropping their opinions like they are gospel, slamming other users, or asking questions that have already been answered a million times. Annoying, yes, but I guess putting up with it is the cost for good and free advice.
I welcome anyone. If you are an @ss, you'll get flammed. I agree that some do not know the rules or search. If it's a topic that is "what size headlight bulbs" then yeah, c'mon search. But if it is a more in depth question that has been discussed before, who cares if it comes up again. Maybe the poster will get new information or better opinions with a newer thread.
^ true......
We do need a common sense button though....and sometimes ppl dont know where to look or just dont understand so if they ask ppl on here it would be eaiser for them to understand what they need or opinions on a matter...but otherwise what has been said on this page is true......
