ok so i went to the gas station gonna get my tank filled up. I parked near a pump, i opened the door and the wind blew the door farther out so I was like "Oh sh*t" then the door hits a upside down "U" bar if you know what I mean (YTF do they have those there when its no use of ANYTHING at all!?!?!?!) So then I was like "OMFG!?!?!" i quickly went out and checked it to see how much damage did it do but to my surprise (and relief ) it didnt even scratch it! Cuz I know the tC's clear coat is very thin so I got so scared of it scratching and denting. Hahahaha, Im so happy :D

but to be on topic, i know how that goes, i usually step out and hold my door so i dont let it go and hit something else, and lucky that nothing happened, cuz your right, the paint is not great on these cars

 

the upside down U is so people dont drive over the pump causing a "movie" like explosion!

 

I went to the pump, filled the take up all the way, looked at the price and I was scared. $40 to fill up my tC.

 

Yep, filled up my tC with a half tank, $23.

I'm suprised your door didn't have a scratch! Good for you...I need to figure out to get this blemish out my passenger door....damn road debris.
