Opinions on the 2006 Scion tC
I am a newbie to Scions had one previously, but broke down too soon (lemon) and was looking into a 2006 Scion tC 2dr hatchback and want some advice.
Does it drive good in snow,
does it breakdown frequently,
perks and cons,
good storage space,
Is it easy to upgrade, fix, tweek by owner without it being difficult to reach areas.
and any other advice is welcome.

We use snow tires, worked well.
Never broken down in 9 years.
You can move half a house in the back.
Burns oil but has improved...
An '06 is 12 years old now, you would be buying a car where the reliability you get depends entirely on the previous owners. That would be my main concern.

I too would say it really depends on any and all of the last owners. Run a 'CarFax' even though it will cost you a few bucks. Mine is an 07 with 94K miles. Yes it uses oil (better now that I use 5x30). Projuctor lights really suck better now with LEDs, still not great though. How many miles? Like samatman said, its 12 years old, change out plugs/wires/PCV/ filters/ gear oil. Then look into replacing things like struts, shocks, bushings.
