Default Order Aluminum Door Sills for McGeorgeParts.com...

I was suprised to recieve them the way I did. I opened up the box and rather than reading "tC" they read "tC Release Series 1.0". Pleasant surprise. I'll have to posts some pictures tommorrow.

what if it is a civic type R tho? it's not hard to do a conversion from tc to rs 1.0. most expensive part would be the paint job but even that is optional.

if it was a true rs1 conversion it would need to be painted red
to each thier own, IJMO

i agree w/ you 100% but there are going to be some people that don't like the red and paint it another color that they like. it's still an rs 1.0. so he can just say that he didn't like the color.

but its neve going to be an rs 1.0 b/c they are individually numbered
it can look like one but it never will be one
besides that it would be cheaper to actually buy the rs 1.0

the only thing he won't be able to get is the #. he can always just make his own plate or whatever it is where the # is at. it will never be a true rs 1.0 but he can sure fool everyone while he's driving. i'm not familiar w/ the rs 1.0....are there any performance mod differences between the rs 1.0 and the regular tc?

it comes w/ 18" wheels, sway bar, red seats, door sills, and blacked out front grille
but come on making up your own # i hope that was a joke
I can make a civic look just like a BMW and i can put a badge on it and everthing, i can fool people into thinking it was a bmw (on the road)
but that does not mean i should
i would feel like a fool

Personally, I wouldn't want RS door sills if I don't own a RS 1.0. It would look so fugly. If you don't want them I'm sure McGeorge would swap them out.

Blah, the RS series only has cosmetic differences its still the same car performance wise who cares, its not like hondas sticking a type r on theirs.

making your own # was a joke. but seriously anyone can make a conversion out of it. the # would be the only problem. i'm sure alot of people will get the rs 1.0 grill and sway bars so what's the harm in getting the door sills?
