easy install:

1) pop the old ones off gently: small/thin pry bar or flat screw driver wrapped in something soft, so you don't scratch the paint.

2) make sure surface is clean

3) line up pegs on new sills with holes in the car.

4) take off adhesive backing strip cover, and put in place.

Just make sure you have enough light so you can see where the holes are when you are putting it down, and everything should work out. (saves $60 in dealer install pricing)

Yes, please share with us where you bought your door sills because some of us can't be bothered to read or are just too ignorant to read the title of this thread.

Hope they have the grille in soon. Yeah I would send them back and get the regular ones.

Andrew, please search. Covered to death here.

Agreed, I'd send 'em back also.

This is 100% wrong. There are enough online sources available that you can install most if not all of the options on your own.

TCAV8R - Noted, sorry I should know better by now.

mrbridge- I meant more for pricing and stuff, it would be easier to have all the little things that I've decided I do want on the financing charge. It's gonna be a fun year!

It's akin to having a Type S on a base RSX. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The grill is just a grill, there is no demarcation stating that it is the grill from the RS 1.

i'm a lil confused on your statement. are you trying to say it's like putting a type S badge on a base rsx? if the base had all the cosmetic and performance mods like the type S then i don't see a problem w/ them putting a type S badge on it. maybe that guy will do a complete swap. there's no harm in that. it will be very easy to do since no performance has cnanged between the two cars. anyone who sees that a regular tc w/ a rs 1.0 grill will know that you are sporting a tc and not an rs 1.0 so what's the difference between that and the door sills? i know the door sills have rs 1.0 written on them but it's not like everyone is going to see them unless he opens the door.

Well, that's exactly the point of the metal sills, to be seen.

Forgot the word "badge" in my previous post, gotta let fingers catch up with brain. For some(most?),it will be seen as kind of tacky to have the rs sills on a reg tC.

The pretense of your devil's advocacy wears thin.
