So we went in today, maybe 45 mins ago. I must say it was a very smooth transaction. Simply got it all set and ordered in, no hassle. The sales rep called me back 5 mins ago to tell me that, due to the side airbag option we ordered it could delay the car from 6-8 weeks, to 8-12 weeks. Eek! He said that if we didnt get the side airbags, but kept the normal ones he could get it alot sooner. I didnt want to make the decision so I threw the phone to my dad and let him deal with it. The dealer assured us that with or without the sideairbags that the car still recieves a 5 * safety rating and the side airbags or mainly used as a protection for objects in your car that are flying around in case of an accident. Well my dad decided that even he didnt want to wait up to 12 weeks and if it seemed they were both safe, it was fine without. Well we got off the phone and my dad told me he said it could get here as quickly as 3-4 days!!!! I will seriously pee my pants if my car gets here that fast! Heres what we ordered out of the factory:
Auto
IIP
Leather seats (the dealer kinda screws you with auto adding them, but my dad preferred it anyways )
Stock airbags now i guess

Now the anticipation begins... Time to join the waiting for my tC support group :D

 

haha he just called me up... a flint mica tC was just dropped off and I can have it now... tempting but if he can really get it within 3-4 days its worth the wait...

 

Hey what dealer are you getting it from? - If you pass on the Flint Mica maybe I'll sweep by and beat someone else to it. :-)
