hey so i went out today to buy a new sw 06 tc..but every dealer of course doesn't have any tc`s in stock and they tell me they can't order it for me..but how come i read that other ppl`s dealers were able to order it for them? and are u able to order with it the specific options that you want..cuz the tc`s i saw today came with options that i wouldn't want and the salesmen said that he can't do anythinga bout it..sounds kinda shady to me. thanks for all and any help

 

sounds like a bunch of b.s. they're probably just trying to get rid of the rest of their 05's that nobody wanted. i went to my dealer and he said all i have to do is put $300 down for a deposit and it'll be here in 4-6 weeks. i'm going on tuesday to order mine

 

yup it's BS.. a lot of dealers we've read about on this forum and others where they will tell you all sorts of lies, from the dealer putting all sorts of options on the car saying this is how scion sells cars.. not true.. to the other lies about how you cannot order a car. Yes you can order the car the way you want it and you don't have to take what's on the dealer's lot.. sure you'll have to wait for it to come into port, etc.. but you can get what you want.. on average it's like a month- 2 month wait.. depends on the options, etc..

check the reviews here for your area (dealer reviews at the top of the page) and find a better dealer... or just tell us where you're from and someone can tell ya where to find a good dealer.. Some dealers in michigan have lied as well, but most i've found tell the truth.. let us know how it goes...

and i see you're 17, i kinda think that they feel they can lie to a younger customer.. typical salesman "Tactics".. but you were definitely smart about feeling it was shady, sure was!

I had mine delievered to me in a exactly 10 days even tho he said it would take about 2 weeks. Well it may take you a little longer if you're farther away from the ports. All I had to do was to put down $500.

 

ah, yeah, you can order them with anything you want.

As for the ones on the dealers lotswhere they have stuff that you dont want. It cannot be removed. I read that its against policy because of the pure price. If they removed some accessories, the price would go below the sticker, and your supposed to pay whats on the sticker no more, no less(granted you still have to pay tax, title, license and stuff)

 

yeah i thought it was a bunch of bs. so all i have to do is go to a dealer and tell them the color and options i want and they can order it for me? oh and does any1 know any GOOD dealerships in SOCAL area that arent shady. thanks for all the help guys
