I'm pretty sure there is no way no change the display units. I also don't see how moving to America would make it any easier to convert temperatures into Celsius. o.O

The only solution is to get better at doing the conversion yourself. I try to remember the simple conversions like 10, 20, 30 degrees, and then use that to figure out the exact temperature.

-10C = 14F
0C = 32F
10C = 50F
20C = 68F
30C = 86F

If you can remember that, it's pretty easy. Every 10C represents 18F. If you look at the gauge and it says 80F, for example, you should be able to tell that it's a few degrees below 30C (about 27C).

Anyway, just trying to help. I am confident that you cannot change the temperature gauge. The tC is not one of those models which is sold in many different countries, so there would be no reason to include a switch between F and C.

Its simple, just look at the display, subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9 ....... nothing to it

Just remember the 10s like described above and estimate from there.

Personally, I think we should all just switch to kelvin and yes, I do think geeky enough that I almost built one that way once :D And of course... in clock mode it should read in binary !
