Default Oznium 3rd Brake Light Question

Has anyone had any problems with the Oznium TBL flickering? I just installed it 2 days ago and the last 3 LEDS on the right flicker a little, and then they stop but then they flicker again (checked it while the car was in park). Could it be loose or should I send it back and ask for a replacement?

Check all the electrical harnesses and if nothing's loose I'd send it back. Either way you're gonna have to pull off all those trunk panels again.

You actually don't have to send it back just send them a message saying you have a problem with the tbl and they will send you a warranty replacement. They have really good service and even sent me a replacement after my warranty expired.

I dislike the Oznium TBL...works well at first then LED's go dead after a year or so.

I bought a Cheaper one off Ebay and its still going strong.

@ TeeCizzle

How "long" has it been going? Haha could be a few months or years...But do you have the ebay buyers name? Im going to give Oznium another shot but if the next one is bad I might try your method.

Oznium TBL fail in my book, just no bright enough!! Purchased 2 in the last year and just used the shell with one of these installed -http://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Rig.../dp/7122048489

Would suggest running a 12 Volt in-line voltage stabilizer to protect the LED from spikes.

Great quality, you just have to remove it from the aluminum housing.

Super bright day and night.

@ Digital

Im not looking for super bright honestly. I needed a new TBL because my factory one ____ the bricks & I had to replace it regardless. The installation was easy enough to do (little hassle with the bolts & pannels but thats whatever) by myself & I like the look of the whole light lit up. Ive seen some problems with the Oznium but ive also heard they have the warranty which is what drove me to them. They are sending me a replacement & I will probably sell the busted one on ebay for like 40 bucks haha. If it doesnt work after that then ill just search on ebay and maybe ill get lucky.

FYI my car which has been driven less than 15k miles since ownership (bought new with 5 miles, in 2006) has a broke _@ss oznium TBL with LEDS out. This thread prompted me to call and get the item warrantied, which it was denied, but they hooked me up with $50 off my next order from them. I scanned my receipt and sent it over, and they took care of me.. but I am VERY skeptical of ordering this replacement TBL.

The look, and quality of the mold is perfect, no condensation or anything, and totally bright enough. HOWEVER... the LEDS may leave something to be desired.
