Default Oznium BLOWSSS..TBL anywhere else??

So to keep the story short. Bought a Oznium Third Brake Light, installed it, had 3 LEDS go out within 2 days. Got a new one from then for free with the warranty, installed it...2 LEDS out within 3 days. Just told them I want my money back and ill send them the broken pieces of crap.

ANYWAY...

Anyone know where I can get a GOOD third brake light that WORKS for more then half a week??? It can be either a FULL which id prefer or a regular style with just the middle 3...help me out please. (Im not handy so MAKING one myself is not an option)

-- Before people jump on me to "Look around" I have been but I want opinions on reliable companys thanks...

I bought my TBL from ebay for 40 dollars. All leds still work, have them for about 3-4months.

Which TBL did you get? I have the dark smoke full TBL from Oznium which I ordered off eBay long ago(maybe a year or so), so far still good on LEDs lighting up.

+1 on the eBay TBL. I have had it for 2-3 months at least, no problems. Spent $50 on it w/ shipping.

mengmotorsports.com
I have many friends with meng TBL and I personally have LED's from them and I feel they are great quality. They also have great customer service and low shipping costs.

Mengmotorsports.com is pricey though. Im not trying to pay 125 for a damn third brake light haha. Especially after the experience I just went through with Oznium. Anyone know of any good EBAY Sellers for the 3rd brake light?

also mine was the light smoked from oznium

the led arrays better be great quality... the original design was copied and taken from me which involved using led arrays that were identical to the OEM one.

identical.

wow. MSRP $250.. for "sale" for $135.
it's like putting a random price down for something that's worth a nickel to $5.. and then selling it for "sale" at $1. there was never any listed price for something like that.. they made up a number that's higher so they could sell it lower and make it sound like you're getting a great deal.

eh whatever, not like i can do any of these anymore since i have no supplier.

while trying not to be extremely mean and agitated from old drama.. he's still offering $40 for you to return your core.. which ends up costing you $95 total.. which, is only about $15 more than what it used to be when i first started. i can't stay pi$sed off over something like a $15 markup.

crap aside, it's still pretty much the best design out there that has shown little to no failures.
(i have prototype #2 on my vehicle and it is still running fine over 4 years)

you're welcome. btw.

with Meng, you can either buy the TBL kit for $40 and do it yourself with a dremmel, automotive sealant, and a drill with small bits; or you can buy the $125 one, give them your OEM TBL for $40 refund or discount, and avoid having molten plastic fly into your eye while dremmelling.

... that's why you wear eye protection. DUH.

though a stray piece of hot plastic messed my eye once, and hit above my glasses... right into my eyebrow. that still hurt like a b#$%. just be wary of cutting direction and how the cutter is spinning.

it's not that difficult of a DIY, there's two of them written up now.

^Either way the OP is going to have to pay up, whether it's $$$ or an eyebrow to get a full TBL.

yeah unless you go to autozone and get one of those cheap LED strips... but it will still mean you must dremmel the core open, my recommendation after doing it is to rather set the RPMs high than low and try to move smoothly with the direction the dremmel is wheeling. if you take my tbl out it looks like a POS job, but you can't tell from outside

and thank you captain hindsight for the eye protection notice
