Oznium superflux leds in the headlights, i need help!
Okay here the deal. i currently have a single led set up in my headlights. i like how it looks but i want to switch from blue to orange and also i want to go brighter.
to accomplish this i have gone with these superflux leds from oznium. This is what they look like:

and here they are compared to a 5mm led:

to use these i need to drill a 3/8" hole. i know people arent usually into this and dont encourage it but im going to go for it. i have a couple of questions about it.
1. Where should i drill the hole to get the best look? i have included a photo to maybe help you out. this is alan from tampa's box. (it was the best head-on headlight pic i could find)

2. am i going to need to bake the headlight and pull the wire through from the insides or do you think i will be able to mount it without taking it apart. should i drill the holes a little bigger and silicon it in or what?
3. i need to point the led into the reflector right? i think this is the way to get the best light distribution.
4. lastly, do you think this will even work? i guess i could go for a higher mcd led.
Let me know what you guys think. you are the best!!

I'd go #2. You don't want to see the LED itself, just the reflection. As for taking it apart, when I've put LEDs in places I've always just drilled big and mounted with silicon. Then again I'm on the lazy side of things.

sounds good, do you think that if i drill at position 2 that the light will get a good reflection? i want to only drill once so i would like to be pretty sure about it all before i commit. as of now i have a single blue led in the little opening beside the headlight and its pointed inside the reflector and it works pretty well. how would i do this if its mounted at the top. Thanks!

Looks good, although you can also get the same look without drilling any holes like I did on mine. This way you cannot see the led anywhere. But you did a good job. Now make them flash when you turn and you'll have giant turn signals!

its super easy to do it the way akxb did it. a bunch of people here have done it the same way, just with cathodes. i would have done it that way but i wanted to try a new product and i dont really mind drilling into my headlights. but good luck to you all! thanks for the comments.
Sorry to thread jack a little, but for those that were asking...
Hard to get a good picture but bascially this is is a view looking up at the drivers side headlight. You can see the led mounted to the bottom edge of the clear plastic lens.
