Default Paint Chip/Products

Ok, driving home from my brothers house in western michgian i was driving east bound on 94. just as i get to my exit i look at the traffic going west bound. all of a sudden i see a ford focus loose control and sliding into the median through the grass coming straight towards me...... all of a sudden he gets some kind of traction and goes straight back to his side of the highway bolting himself under a semi truck.. during him sliding through the grass he flung rocks and sh*t across my side of the highway. sure enough 2 rocks got my hood.. making some major paint chips not so much dents but just deep paint chips.... anyone know of any products or anything to help me out? im really ____ed but feel bad to whatever happend to the driver... let me know thanks...

depends on how "major" they are. Scion sells a paint pen for minor chips but would look odd if you put it everywhere? probally just need to get it repainted??

get the paint pen, and a fiberglass pen(advance auto, napa, etc.). take the paint pen and ad layers into the chip until it is rounded over the original paint when its dried.. then come back with the fiberglass pen and slightly sand it down until its flush with the original surface..then use some compound to polish that small area up to original shine..you won't be able to tell!....although it will not have a clearcoat so after a few years, you might notice some discoloration/fading..

if your really good with it..., a type of clearcoat pen would be ideal i guess, and if you use it then dont round off the paint pen, round it off with the clearcoat...

idk, i would honestly just use the paint pen and not worry about the clearcoat... in theory it may fade but i've never noticed it.

well think of it as going sideways on ice and then it goes straight to pavement if u dont flip u slide a little and go foward.. he caught traction in the grass and went sideways across all lanes putting himself under a semi... it was crazy

yeah actually that's typical of idiots on I-94! You get these insane drivers from Chicago going to detroit and back.. they do like 120mph+ NO JOKE. I once was over on 94 and a BMW M3 passed me doing about 140mph! Yeah he was from Chicago. Geesh. Was weaving in and out of traffic, where is a state cop when ya need one!

and about the touch up paint. Your best idea is to get a fine paint brush from an art store to touch it up, the paint tends to dry and then sink, so another layer is needed. You can just use the touch up paint but not the brush that little container comes with.
