Default Paint problem

I have a small issue with some paint on my front bumper. As like any other tC owner, I inspect my car everytime I drive it. Today I looked at my bumper and saw a funny spot on my bumer. I thought it was dirty but on closer inspection it looks as though the paint had bubbled up and bursted now its all wrinkled looking. I notice another small spot rising up in around the same area. Its only a small spots but should I be afraid for the rest of the bumper? Should I take it to the dealership?

Dude! I hope the paint on my bumper doesn't bubble up. But if did, guess who'd be the first to know. Yep, the dealer. I would be concerned that it might get worse. Good luck!

Is there any difference as the bumper is not metal but plastic (I think that is the material)? I would still take back to dealer but it might be more of a minor issue/less work if paint is coming off the plastic versus a more "critical" metal area.??

not really, they will paint the whole bumper again so there is no way of it happening again. As to metal area, you could only paint damaged area, but you would need to cover larger area in order to make it look good - and that depends on damaged area
