I painted my calipers because my aftermarket rims showed them a lot more than the stock rims due to the open spoke design. Hmmm rusty calipers or painted ones. I wonder what looks better.

Right on.
I'm going to paint my calipers silver for a nice clean factory look. I'm not doing it for a bling factor but just to clean up the looks of the brakes behind my new wheels. I've painted my calipers on all my cars after upgrading the wheels, most of the time black. A big brake kit would be nice but I just want a cleaned up look for the time being, I think this is why most of us paint the calipers.

you could just use rustoleum if you did it to get rid of the rust.
