Looks good, I painted mine the same way. Much easier to paint them while they are still on the car. As long as you mask and tape off the area it is not a problem. You can check out mine by clicking on the link under my signature.

the kind on the xB is a fancy kind. lol.
mine was at pep boys for almost $6...but we got it on sale for $2.98. it's a spray. i can't recall the brand right now, but when i head back outside to work on my car, i'll check.

Hey Sciongirl - thanks for the good pictures. I definitely want to give this a try and I figure spraying while on the car is probably the best way to go about it, but I want to make sure I'm doing it right since I've never done this before. I've taken some liberties with your picture - hope you don't mind.

Anyway, it looks like there are a few areas you taped off (would have been nice if the tape didn't match the paint color!). On the right is the whole brake disc of course. Then there are two long areas (thin on one end, bigger on the other) on the top and bottom, and then two smaller "D" shaped areas in the middle. Are these the only things you have to tape off? Any other tips? Also, how did you do this? I was thinking I could borrow my GF's jack and do the front two at once, then aftere a while switch to the back two... I wonder how long it would take that way... Did you use any sort of primer or cleaning solvent first?
