You have to push and hold. Then push to disarm.

 

I am still waiting for my FM tC to come from Japan but i have an 02 camry right now. I come out of a store and see some soccer mom parking this huge suburban in front of my car, she has no idea of where her car ends. So i hit the panic button to alert her. It turned out she was already pulling forward to hide the front of the car intot he spot but her window was open, she freaked and hit the gas, ended up "tapping" the car in front of her.

 

sorry, but the stock tc comes with a panic button? or are you guys talking about aftermarket car alarms?

i was walking out of h.e.b (texan supermarket) and i was with my friends and for some reason... i felt like hitting the panic button.... and on mine, it takes a few seconds for it to actually go off so by the time i realized, it was too late... a truck was backing out right behind me and when the alarm went off, he locked his brakes up and i heard a glass bottle break from his truck.... he then proceeded to TRY and peel out (but to no avail).... i kinda felt bad (after i was done laughing with my friends )

 

I use panic all the time in parking lots, especially in Atlantic Station, that place is constantly packed.

 

it amazes me how many old threads get bumped on this forum. at all other forums i visit the threads go into the archives, or either have a warning saying the thread is old right after you click to post, asking you to confirm if you want to post.

anyways, yeah, i use my panic button whenever i glance out the window and someone is walking by my car in my neighborhood.

 

I am going to have to start using mine. I have never set my car off. Might have to start having some fun.
