:D We just got the first Pedestal Spoiler for the tC. We will install it on a Silver tC. It looks sweet, prices havent been posted yet but should be released sometime next month. The spoiler kit also comes with upgraded dampeners for the hatch. We'll post the pics by this time tomorrow.

i found this pix online... it's the pedestal scion tC spoiler. Not a big fan of it... but here it is.



they retail for $325 and comes painted.

 

Frankly I'm not a big fan of the spoiler. The little lip one is a total rip, but I think it looks pretty good in a euro kinda way.

What I'm more interested in is the dampers for the hatch that you mentioned - what's the deal there?

I think the Scion pedestal spoiler is way nicer than that honda looking thing in that link

 

from the pic up there, Im not too crazy about it. Then again, its at a wierd angle so. Ill wait for the pics and maybe a few more Aftermarket ones to come out after SEMA to see which I like

 

better than the factory pedestal one... but i'm still not fond of it. I think the tC looks alot cleaner and better with lip style rear spoiler (not the factory option one...but abit larger one-nothing extreme). But that's just me.

 

I think a g35 lip would look good, there was a photoshop edit somewhere

 

At least it's not a Supra or Eclipse Turbo look-a-like. I think it does some unique dressup for the back of the tC... I personally think that the tC is missing something back there stock, but still looks good without it. However, with the taillight design, that does make it look like the back of the current model Honda Civic.

 

i don't like either of the pedestal spoiler, the 1st one looks to bulky while the second just looks like the stock civic spoiler. I like the lip the best but thats just me... i'm not in favor of just about any spoiler bigger than a lip unless it's actually needed.

 

is that PS or is it on the car? It does make it look like a civic :?
