Default people need to learn how to drive

So on my way to work this morning at around 11:30, I was driving down one of my town's busy main roads, with lots of side roads off of it. A Nissan Maxima pulled out halfway into the road about to take a left turn as I was going straight. (keep in mind the speed limit is 40 and i was doing a little under 45) So he/she pulls out and I swerved into the other side of the road with a car coming right towards me head on and then I swerved back into the right lane and my back end got lose and I was able to straighten it back out but I was shaking so badly I could barely shift the rest of the way to work! People should really pay attention when they're driving, ESPECIALLY with this economy is. You don't want to be paying skyrocketing insurance rates and repairs on your only car.

Be careful everyone!

Try living in CA, specifically my city, seriously. The closer & closer you get towards my house, the worse the drivers get. I'm surprised I've only had 1 accident (6 yrs ago, not my fault). *knocks on wood*

LOL.....I moved to IN 3yrs ago and everyone here is an idiot and they can't drive either. I have seen some of the worst drivers in this state. They go 5-10mph UNDER the speed limit while in the left lane. Highway AND busy roads! They use 2 lanes to turn right and nobody can seem to park in between the lines. It's just amazing! But us "out-of-state" drivers are easy to spot because we're used to going at least 5mph over the limit.

everyone in my school, when leaving the parking lot, assumes everyone is turning into the other driveway to go in and just pulls right out. like bzinn said, someday i'm just going to pile into them.

I said the same thing when I saw a 300 touring go 100mph, hit an expansion joint, fishtail, snap over steer, and slam sideways at about 50mph into the guard rail on top of a bridge luckily missing about 5 cars that were near him.
