oh yah, i meant how did you take it off to paint it. sorry for the vague response on my part haha. I was scared that the emblem was gonna break. I wanted to paint the rear emblem "Black Chrome"

So basically just curious how you were able to pry it off. like from the side, or the middle of the emblem

^^^ I second that - how is the rear emblem held on? How hard was it to paint? I've got a touchup paint pen - I would be interested in color matching it to the rest of the car. Alternatively, how much is a new one? Maybe I could buy a new one to paint and if I liked it, put it on the car. It would be cool if you could do the front and back ones.

looks nice. black and white pics add character that colored pics don't have.

It’s held on by a thin 2way tape material that 3m makes. Just get your nail or small screw driver covered in a soft clothe and get underneath the emblem. It will come right off willsome pressure. Then sand it with a fine grit sandpaper to scuff the surface. Then paint let dry, clear cost the front and the back of the emblem and your done!

Great pics once again. Once again, Where'd you get those TRD overlays for the rear hatch? What would those be called, so i can look for some maybe in different styles
