Default Please Help w/ my CEL.

Long story short, i was connecting reconnecting my battery when my racthit made contact with my CAI. Now my CEl is on. When i start the engine it seems to stall and then turn on. Also when i drive it and press down on the gas to hard the engein stops producing power. I seems to happen in high rpms 3K or higher. Could i have blown a fuse or a senser. Has anyone have had this problem?

Search for "limp mode"

From what I've read, its probably due to a sensor.

Whoops, sounds like you might have messed up the mass airflow sensor somehow.

Remove the negative battery terminal again and step on the brakes for about 2 minutes and then put it all back together and see how it runs..

I would have to agree with Diversion, you proably fried your MAF sensor. Lot of people have done this and had to go get the MAF replaced.. You can try the reset of the ECU, but I doubt its gonna work, if it doesnt be prepared to shell out some money.

Thanks guys, i looked up limp mode and found a post of a guy with the same problem. I went to the dealership and got a new MAF senor for 110 bucks.
Atleast my car runs great now. This can be locked now.
