imo, i tihnk that the Si looks better than TC, the coupe and sedan, and out performs it and would be much faster than a TC once modded and i tihnk that the nterior of the Si looks really good and the 6 speed lsd, 197-hp K-series motor are some pluses of the Si

 

stupid, stupid stupid...i mean, you want to trade in your tc for either a new tc, or a car similar in many ways to your tc? yeah, stupid, you have put all that work into your tc, and you want to go back to square one? why? for new headlights? or different ambers. you can change those all for way less than the cost of a whole new car.

keep the 05, it is the original.

 

I wish I still had my 05. I prefer my new car over it, but had I not wrecked, I would never know, and damn it I loved that car.

Anyhoo,
I say keep it. I don't know how much you're paying, or for how long, but I wouldn't spend money if need be on a car when you have a perfectly fine one in your driveway. But, if you're determined to upgrade: Don't get another tC, and screw the Si. The GTI is already faster stock; throw in a $600 APR reflash and you'll safely make 260hp and 308ft.lbs. They are undertuned from the factory, and is safe power. It already handles like a champ too.
