have you looked to see if the road is smooth? and no ruts in the road? the low-profile tires can catch ruts/grooves in the road and cause the steering wheel to grab to the left or right..

have you tried it in a parking lot ?? does it still do it there? let us know what happens..

sounds like there might be a problem in the steering column itself, along with the steering rack, not getting the hydralics of the power steering through.. especially since it was on a smooth driving surface..

they should definitely be looking at the steering rack, may have an internal problem dealing with the power steering..

yeah... me too... i had to put some steering fluid already twice... i think it was like a month ago but since then i haven't filled it up yet.. im not sure why the fluid level went down.. but i have a bad feeling that i have a leak in my steering.. just not sure if its with the pump or the rack or just with the hose... haven't had time to go to a dealer but i will for sure... does cold weather can cause steering fluid to drop down?

not really.. the fluid fluctuates between the "hot" and "cold" level indicators.. but if it was beneath the low point then yeah it's a leak.. definitely get that checked out.. sorry to hear that.. I wonder how many steering racks may be affected if this comes true..

and one thing more why i am concluding that there is a leak is that there is a spot underneath my car...

harmonic, check ur fluid level... it seems that you are below the required level..
the spot color is yellowish...similar to the color of the steering fluid...

pare, keep us updated after your visit to the dealer... btw. if you need to leave the car at the dealership would they gove u a loaner car?

ill check the fluid, but its a clunk sound. almost like there is a little play in the steering. it steers real tight so thats why i havent done anything yet.

I almost hate to tell you this but I think you already know it: you should not have to refill steering fluids for a LONG LONG LONG LONG time. You definately have a problem, and you need to insist on getting it fixed. Take digital pictures of the spill, get a sample if you must.
