pre-ordered options installed port-side?
hey everyone, my dealer called me a couple days ago and left a message, and I called him back and he said that the tC should be in by the middle of the month, and he gave me a list of options the tC is going to come with that I pre-ordered with the car.
now my question is, he said they will come to the dealer with all the options I pre-ordered already installed and I can't change anything unless they're taking it off and I'd have to go re-sign the papers with my co-signer - now my salesman is the nicest guy ever, he deals with my mother-in-law left and right with her company buying cars and he gave me the hookup like royalty, but he doesn't know all too much about Scions. during the paperwork when I pre-ordered it he was asking me a lot of questions like "the tC only has one interior color option right?" he's a trained toyota dealer, so I forgive him, but he told me to contact the Parts department and talk to them about some aftermaket TRD parts I wanted so I did.
Danny in parts knew his stuff, and he confirmed what I thought about parts being installed at the dealer and they arrive clean. I've heard mentions from people who said if you pre-order options they get installed at Port.
so which is correct? should I belive the knowledgeable parts department guy who installs te parts or the not-so knowledgeable really nice Toyota salesman who sounded like he was reading off what parts it would be coming with and believes that whole-heartedly?
Case in point, I was thinking about getting the TRD Exhaust installed on the tC when I pre-ordered and changed my mind afterwards when I knew more about it, but if it comes with it that'd suck and I don't really want to have to make them take it off when I did pre-order it.[/b]
