Default Problem again with my car...wow.

I'm really starting to dislike this. Longstory short, I jumpe in my car and the ! Is on. I check my tires and evrything seems fine. I drive since I need to make a short trip anyway, well everytime I go over a bump or rough road, the back passenger side suspension area squeaks terribly. Its a loud speak that u can hear even with soft music, its perfectly fine though and doesn't squeak when its smooth raods. What do you guys think is the problem?

Yes im lowered on TRDs. I took a friend home (Bronx to Queens, 20 min each way), and the car was fine, didnt hit any major bumps or potholes or anything of the like. I just hopped in my car and heard the squeaks and the ! on.

have you looked closely? could be ice in the suspension, yeah it happens. If it is ice.. wait til you get closer to 32 degrees and spray the suspension with water (warm/hot) from a carwash hand wand. Then drive.

my car does the EXACT same thing. when I drive over a smooth rode. nothing. its fine. but as soon as I hit a bump patch of road or speed bumpo anything it rattles and squeaks like hell by the rear passenger side, and in the freezing cold its a hell of a lot worse when the weather is warmer its not bad its worse in the cold especially since its been in the teens here. But I have no clue where or wat the noise is coming from, I also feel like its the actual trunk/hatch that makes these squeaky bouncing noises. I'm not sure wat it is but it always sounds like its coming from the hatch but also sounds like its coming from the suspension.

My springs were installed a while ago, so its not that. Few months ago, and the shop that did it is a performance shop, excellent work and people who know about it can vouch for it. I had a feeling it may be just the cold weather, but my TMPS light is still on. My tires feel fine though.

for your tpms - did you try the reset button in the glovebox? something may have just set it off and it just needs a reset.

I'll try that later when I drive and see if it comes on again, though I did have a cracked rim and I did have it welded a few weeks ago, holds up fine. Im still looking for new rims but I checked out the tire yesterday and it was fine. I'll reset it and see if it comes on, as for the sway bar bushing, I do drive in a garage for an apartment complex so I do go up and down levels, sometimes I book it cause its late and I wanna get home already, sway bar bushing makes sense. What should I do to teh bushings?

Check the air pressure in your tire(s) while you're at it. Difference in weather conditions can make your TPMS light come on.

I have this problem. My squeak is coming from the driver's side and when I push up on the suspension from under the car I can make it squeak. It seems to be worse right now because it is cold out and they covered the roads with salt because of a dusting of snow.
It's not terribly loud, but even with moderate music volume I can hear it inside - not sure how loud it is outside.

x2

If I bounce the car I can hear it squeak. Maybe its a universal problem for those where the cold weather is pounding on us like Mandingo on a pornstar.

I had both of the same problems with the tmps sensor. I went to the dealer and they replaced the sensor and the light when away. The noise on the shock and springs placement had moved and it was grinding on the inner part of the shock that was making the noise. I took it apart and put it back together and it went away. Check how the spring sits on the shock. You should not be able to turn it. That was my problem with the trd springs

Well when i installed my springs i pretty much did a fast job so i never checked if they where properly seated. I did it twice to get that one spring right. Pull the whole shock off and check how the spring is seated. It might be that it slipped off when they lowered the car. As that was my problem when i lowered the car again, the spring slipped and i heard the squeaking again. But i git right the second time. Just check if its right.
