LoL....Something is making a High Pitch Sqweak on my car too!...

It happens when I get In & Out of my car!!!...Arrrggh!

I was thinking its the E-Brake out of adjustment becuz it makes the sound when I push or jiggle the car.

Its Annoying!...I thought it was my Springs rubbing against the strut...but nope!..

Oh well....maybe it is the Sway Bar??

And mysteriously, the car is fine today, no squeaks at all. Not that im complaining, but wtf. I guess it was the extreme cold. No more (!), I resetted it and never came back on. It does come back on if theres a problem right? The squeaks are def. gone.

the reset button just basically makes the system recheck everything and clears it if there is no longer a problem present so yes if another problem occurs they will still come on.

Remember you just reset it not actually turned them off

Well I had to do it a few times, I held the button for 2 sec, it blinked and stayed on. Did that process 2 more times and drove til it finally turned off. I guess I had to drive a little, still a bit worried about the squeaks in the back. I need to bring in my car for the 15k maintenance as well. $375 at the delearship is no joke either. Anyother place I could do this? Or is the delearship the only way.

have you even checked like I suggested, ice in the suspension? it is cold enough for that to be in there!

as for $375 for the 15k service is a joke. all it is is the following..
-oil change
- air filter change (do it yourself!)
- rotate tires
- inspect stuff

really not that expensive, sounds like you need to find another dealer not trying to pay their rent!

For the TPMS light, something most people don't know and I didn't know until a month ago. The spare is included in this. Check the pressure in that too. I know you solved the light issue but i would still ckeck it.

Also as far as the squeaking goes. I have my car lowered on TRD springs too and I was having the same issue in the right rear shock. I had trouble intstalling that one and for some reason it wasnt seating properly. I took it apart over my winter break from tech and finally got it to seat right. Squeaking is pretty much gone now. Also took off my radio flip door cause the thing was making noise like crazy. I hate annoying rattles and squeaks. Which a tC is ridden with. I still love the car tho .
