Default projectors

Hey guys, Im buying a set of projectors probably this week. I was curious if there are any brands to look for, or stay away from. The light output is defiantly important to me as well, I don't want to have decreased light output in the end or condensation.

With that being said, these are the ones I am currently looking at:

Any thoughts, opinions, or suggestions are appreciated.

stay away, I'm sure those led will burn out within the first month are so also the projector lens and cutoff isn't sharp. You'll probably get the condensation eventually also. IMO I wouldn't get aftermarket projectors best bet is to do a retrofit or upgrade to 08+ oem headlamps.

You could try to find the aftermarket projector lamps with the eyebrow led strip and cover it with a eyelid. It would look nice considering you don't choose to get 08+headlamps or do a retro.

friend of mine had these, lasted him 3 months, leds burnt out, it gets condensation.(he would park outside just once or twice a week), also when removing it the plastic tab cracked way too easily.(and no we didnt just yank it out, we were careful)
oem is the way to go.

ah damn, not what I was hoping to hear, but very helpful, thanks. I guess I might either go with HIDS in my 06 lights or try finding used oem projectors. I checked the price of the oems new and they came to 436, and you still had to pay shipping.

if you are thinking of spending that much on those lights id recommend save a little bit more and do a retro fit it would be a fun project to do and worth every penny...

here is the official Retro Fit thread
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...ight=Retro+Fit

here is a DIY
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/tc-tech-diy-1818/hid-retrofit-custom-31077/

If you want more info on retro fitting read up on in the Official retro fit thread very good information in there.

i had a set dont depend on the halos lasting and the leds dont provide enough resistance to stop the fast blink, go ahead and seal them up real good or just get OEM

oh i love this ! you ever owned a pair of those headlights your talking crap about ?

dont believe this junk you hear, Ive had mine for almost 3 years and never had a problem. If a led burns out its VERY EASY TO REPLACE. and with that said ive never had one burn out...

Also the projector cutoff isnt sharp you say? hmm i wonder how much sharper it can get...
