Proof = tC is for girls
Little do you know...
...that's a man!
I think Scion did that just because they're more certain females would be more interested in the tC than the xB or xA. Don't call me sexist or anything, that's just IMO. It's called marketing...

if you think the car is so girly then don't buy one! simple as that! honestly, there are a LOT of cars on the market today that could be argued as "girly". what it comes down to, always has, is your personal taste and preference and what you consider to be "girly" looking. hell, i even think the H2 is a tad bit "girly" looking -- compared to the full-on army-sized get-the-f-out-of-my-way Hummer.

Using women in tC advertisements.... hmmmm
I still like the tC, and would rock one... But wow, market reseach will show that when car companies use a woman in an advertisement it's not by accident.
xB ad: Black guy on a cell phone. Message = smooth, sophisticated
xA ad: Asian guy with an iPod. Message = youthful, innovative
t2B ad: Guy in funky hat and sunglasses. Message = hip, different
tC ad: Sporty young chick. Message = sporty, sexy

The fact they used a girl in the tC ad could be a sign that they are marketing directly towards women drivers, but who knows... It could also be a direct correlation to the sales figures they have. If they've sold more tCs to women, the ad might reflect that.
I don't know, but marking is usually specific and well thought out. Especially by a big company like Toyota. They don't just slap these ads together without thinking.
