Hello all, I just came here to introduce myself. I just bought my first car ever - A Scion TC. So far, I love it! 2006, manual, black, stock, stock, and more stock. I plan on getting some new tail lights and a spoiler within the next few months. Anyone have any other advice for a new TC owner?

 

well im not that new here but to mods yes.

Ah I gotcha. I feel stupid. Anyways, this car has 44K miles on it and is in near perfect shape. What would have been a pretty good price to pay for it?

yea i would say 10-11k. I think kbb is even higher than that.

It's illegal to have a stock ride height TC on Scionlife. Turbo or not! Bare minimum is TRD springs (although the drop is a little funny).

 

Ive had my TC since November of 06 and im still not lowered. LOL. Im trying to figure out whats best. To me the TC sits a little higher up in the rear then the front and it seems every spring lowers the front more then the rear which would make me think the rear would sit even higher, and I dont like that. I hope its just my poor vision and my imagination playing games with me. I like the H-Techs cuz there low but not low enough where I have to worry about the speedbumps every day going into work. Im in the process of saving for that Descendant kit right now and for an engagement ring for my lady so I've got a budget, "Dont we all". I say get some H-TECHS!
