Any good recommendations for springs/lip kits? These are the tail lights i want:

I would say maybe $11-12k.. then again I haven't looked at any used tC in a while. What was the price you paid for it?

Since everyone is throwing in their 2 cents, I would say, get yourself a Quickshifter/shortshifter and some cable bushings. It is the ONLY bolt on mod that you will notice a difference in.

 

Drop it 2 inches and put in a turbo and call it a day...

 

DONT get underglow! not really that sweet anymore imo and yes get some htechs possibly and a short shifter or something.

if you lower it that will be your favorite mod unless u boost it.

 

Just installed my TWM short shifter, stage 2. Well worth my money, and i just ordered my TRD exhaust and Tein H-Tech, definetly do the short shifter. Than lower.

 

I used to have Tanabe DF210 springs. 1.7 front/2.2 rear. Very even-looking drop.

 

you also have to figure out what YOU want...

do you want to work more on aesthetics or performance? there's a lot of mods for both sides.

 

Oh Tanabes lower more in the rear, I like that! It just seems to me getting the Tein springs that lower more in the front then rear would look a little silly seeing as the fronts already sit lower. I like how Tanabe does the opposite. Thanks for the info! :D

 

I heard each sticker adds 5-10 horsepower.

I paid $4,500 for my '05 tC with 81K miles from the original owner. He had bought a new mustang and simply didn't need the tC anymore, being my bud he took my offer. I started doing functional mods like window tint and a hidden hitch(bike rack). I would recommend doing whatever you like, steering away from the fads on ScionLife can be a good thing sometimes.


As for those tails...my GF loves them, so i'll never put them on my car. Ever since she was the designated driver she's been trying to stealz teh kar.
