Purchasing a 06 tC RS vs 07 RS3.0
Tough question. I love the Blitz Blue paint more than the Blizzard Pearl, but the 3.0 package is better than the 2,0
2.0 is all about airbags pretty much. I like the regular OEM rims better than the 2.0's satin finish... both have alcantara, just depends upon your preference of all black versus two toned... you get the iPOD radio with the 2.0, but you can throw it on the 3.0 for an additional $260... both have the sub... the 3.0 has the body kit and the tails and the dechromed headlights which are pretty hot.
package-wise, 3.0>2.0, but color-wise 2.0>3.0
I'd get the 3.0, lol, plus you'll get better resale value because it's one year newer.

My personal opinion on what you should buy; a regular 2007 tC, and take the money that would be spent on the RS toward the supercharger.
I've been really pleased with my RS2.0, and I like what they did with the 3.0 as well. What it really should come down to is what YOU like, since you're the one that has to drive it. Take the list of "upgrades" for each vehicle and make a list of which ones are most important to you, and check the pros and cons if you're having a rough time making a decision. I really doubt you'd be unhappy with either choice, sounds like you just need a little something to put you over the top on your decision.
More power, as Monkeysauce above me recommended would be nice, but keep in mind that if you do throw the TRD supercharger on, you'll have to use premium gas which, with the way prices are going up lately, is going to suck. It's unfortunate that with a measly 40hp boost you still have to spend that extra loot on premium.

In fairness to the supercharger, it makes around 50 whp for the manual, around 45 whp for the automatic in it's stock form, for around 185-190whp total.
No premium with a supercharger=detonation or massive power loss=bad
I'm in no way saying I don't like the RS cars, I'd actually love to have an RS1. It's just where you'd prefer to put your money, and what goals you have for your car.
