you know the light that flashes on and off when you lock your car?? thats the button/light i'm talking about. turn on the ignition and press that button/light and turn your engine off. lock your car and you will hear the beep.

 

thats not the scion security then there is no button light

 

wtf then, i bought this security system at my dealer once i got my car...idk man. thats very strange. but im glad it beeps then.

 

yeah not trying to be a dick, but everyone knows the scion security dont beep but i was asking you to double check

 

so maybe they installed an aftermarket alarm? or maybe a toyota alarm? i'm going to look at the alarm manual later tonight and i'll let you know which alarm system i have.

 

you probably got SET's "factory" alarm..
damn southeast toyota region has their own weird stuff...

as been said SOOOOO many times... Scion Security does NOT honk or beep.

 

I just want to know why people pay $500+ for a Scion security that doesn't come with much features? For that money you could get a nice Clifford, Viper, or CompuStar installed that will most likely protect you 100% better than a Scion security.

Besides, Scion comes stock with a panic, remote entry, and engine immobilizer.
