Default Question about TC

From what I hear the trunk is kinda small on the TC. Was just wondering if I would have a problem putting in a sub box in the back. It's alittle bigger then a foot in height and im just curious if it will fit.

Silver Scion TC in my near future!

Thanks for the help! :D

trunk is smaller than expected .. actually very smaller than expected.. they have a little nook that'll fit their own subwoofer.. prolly y they built it that way anyway.. my trunk will mainly house my school books and change of clothes... and if i have something big, i can always fold everything down

Ill send you pics when im done with my install im taking out the spare and putting in a custom box in its place keeping it clean lookinf though, nothing fancy. The amp is going in the little side compartment next to the spare and a plexi window will let you see down to it. Before i get flamed to all hell let me say i owned a c5 vette (i can hear the laughing now) and i never had a spare in it nor a runflat tire and didnt have problems, got a flat once called triple a and got her towed home . the way i see it is either way you can only go 100 miles b 4 you need to replace it AAA will tow up to 100 miles and a spare is usually good for 100.

the trunk room is so bad that im skeird lol. I have "a" 12" r/f sub so i think i may just flip the box on its side to see if it fits better... its more of a height issue than anything... The tc has a trunk cover but if the height is too bad you dont wanna rip the cover off and have your subs showing because that's just retarded and asking for probs.

Ahhhh, thank you. Ya i have two 12" subs and a hugh box, hehe. Don't think it's going to work so I will probably have to make my own.

it's more room than my wrx...plus the seats fold down, and even the passenger seat folds flat. they claim you can fit an 8 foot surfboard in it

For a car like this, the trunk space is average. But doubt you will be able to fit your current sub boxes in this area.

yea... the trunk is quite small... smaller than civic trunk... thats why scion acc. offer Bazooka speakers only..

well not really, subaru offer a sub and amp attached and it goes under the passenger seat.... lays flat on the ground..

you can fit a brief case in the trunk, and thats about it. I'm actually kinda exaggerating it a bit, you could probably fit 2 and a gym bag and have ample room left over for misscealenous (sp) items.

I would like to see a custom enclosure similar to the sub Scion is offereing... It fits nicely and leaves you plenty of space.

Perhaps larger subs hidden on both sides, and there is plenty of room next to the spare for an amp.
