I’m driving a stock, manual tC in Super White. Whenever I roll over speed bumps, even at very low speeds, when my back tires go over the bump, I think the spare jumps up and makes a really big “thump” noise. Just checking to see if anyone else has experienced this too?

 

You try tightening the hub?

Hit the bumps at an angle.

That will stop the problem. :D

 

Happens every time to me too... was wondering what the heck that was.

I'm a delivery driver and everytime I leave the store I have three speed bumps to get over before I'm on the road.

 

I sell the tC in H-town and i use to notice the same thing in our trac model. So I decided to investigate. I decided that it could only be 2 things. So I tightened the hub but still a bit of noise so I made sure the tools were secured and still a noise. I finally found the cause of my problem. Apparently there is a tire hold down strap that was in one of the compartments that When I took out made the noise go away. So check to see if that does it for you. Good luck
