hey guys i know im going to be flamed up and down the bored but oh well.

i was coming home from work today and i pulled up next to an se-r and normally i dont race cuz its to risky but he was revving his motor and i have not raced in ages. so the light turned green and i took of (there was no other cars around going uphill). he had a better launch but i held with him even though i thought i would get crushed. he had a nose on me up until about 60-65 (on a 40) and then i hit the brakes cuz i dont like speeding. i lost but at the next light i he pulled up again and i told him good race and that i liked his car.

now go ahead start flaming lol but what is the hp, tq and weight ratings of the new se-r?

 

i'm not one to flame but how is it that u haven't raced in ages if ur only 17 and was it the s-er or the se-r spec v cuz if it was the spec-v i don't u could hanged but the s-er yeah probably since it only comes in auto and the spec-v is manual.

 

it was def manual cuz she was rolling back... but i mean i havnt raced in months since like september of last year so idk if you call that long?!?!

 

Yeah true the spec V is manual and you prob could have kept up if it was just Ser..was it a newer one? My buddy had one(S-er spec V) and he hated it..But I think they are like 175 Hp for the Spec V and just the S-ER is like 165..So You could have raced either.

im sorry it was a dude and it was a new one...he was all stock and i have lighter wheels megan header, s-pipe, injen cold air, and hks hi-power. if i had launched it harder he would not have been a nose up!

well with the 08 models, the regular se-r runs 177hp/172tq and the spec-v runs 200hp/180tq and i do think the 07 and the 08's are the same. soooooooooooo what im saying is i dont think it was a spec-v, and the regular se-r's do come in stick also so its very likely it was a regular se-r. with all the stuff you said you have, you guys are pretty even.

i do not believe it as a spec-v however i could be wrong. i didnt see spec-v badging but he could have removed em but if it was a spec-v i would not have kept up. like i said we were neck and neck with no one pulling on eachother, if i hadnt launched it like a pansie, i prob would have nosed him! all in all it was fun though but i will not be doing this again any time soon!

 

yea you should've gone all out or not do it at all
